BACK OF HOUSE
Back of House is a conceptual brand for a monthly cooking subscription box and print publication designed for people who love to cook and create but possibly lack access to restaurant grade tools or unconventional ingredients. Inspired by early 2000s restaurant culture, the design embraces a raw, utilitarian aesthetic using elements like guest checks, receipt paper, and kitchen signage. The box includes a custom “BOH” apron, three curated non-perishable items, and a print publication with chef interviews, ingredient lists, and recipes. All creative recipes, photography, layout, and art direction were produced by me, emphasizing a cohesive, anti-design approach throughout.
